Portrait is a card game. The players are set challenges from the cards selected. Each time a new combination of cards is used. This means that no two games will ever be the same. The players will then use an AI Image Generator of their choice to make images and with the challenges set by the PortrAit game cards, produce some very interesting and often hilarious results.
Strategy & Creativity
Portrait is a game that requires both strategy and creativity. Players are not allowed to use the key words on the cards and so must come up with strategies to sidestep this problem so that they supply the AI Image generator with prompts better and faster than their opponents. The more creative the players are the more the image will resemble the subject and the funnier it can be.
Easy to learn, hard to master
Portrait is easy to learn, but hard to master. With simple rules and mechanics, anyone can pick up the game and start playing. However, to truly become a master, players must hone their AI Prompting skills and develop new strategies.
Suitable for all occasions
Portrait works with any number of players.
We think it works best in a party setting as there is no need for table setups or special seating arrangements.
The interactions generated by all the players trying to generate the requested image at the same time makes for a very lively evening with lots and lots of laughs along the way.
